Vendor Gateway (EDI)
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) was created to standardize and automate the transaction processes exchanged between companies as they do business. In a standard exchange cycle, where one company purchases something from another, the Buyer creates a Purchase Order and sends it to a Vendor. The Vendor receives the order information and uses it to fulfill the order. When the order ships, the Vendor notifies the Buyer of pertinent shipping information such as the ship date, the ship method, and when applicable, the tracking number. The Vendor will then create an invoice and send it to the Buyer, completing the cycle.
Amazon Interface
The process was designed to interface data between an Ecometry user and Amazon.com’s Web Store front system. Payload file extracts (product files) are extracted from Ecometry and sent to Amazon.com, these extracts contain all the necessary data needed to populate Amazon’s site as well as Order transactions and related data feeds.
Skymall Interface
The SkyMall Interface is a streamlined link to SkyMall for Ecometry users who participate in their catalog. The program enables users to receive orders in BatchOrder (AKA TapeMACS) format from SkyMall, process them in Ecometry and report back to SkyMall when they have been shipped. This then triggers a payment from SkyMall to the Ecometry user. The program also allows returns to be processed against SkyMall orders, and keeps all financial information accurate. Prime-Vendor Selection
This program allows Ecometry users to automatically reassign the primary (drop-ship) vendors for selected products based on a cost factor, lead days, and a user-defined “vendor preference." For users of RJR's Vendor Gateway (EDI), inventory levels are also available as a selection criteria.

RJR TMEditor – Incoming BatchOrder (AKA TapeMACS) files can be passed through the RJR Editor prior to being processed, to review or correct standard information. RJR's editor is directly linked to the reject information produced by TapeMacs for dynamic editing capability!
DataSync - Duplicate Checking –
Eliminate Duplicate Names in Ecometry, RJR's
DataSync Utility processes incoming BatchOrder files before being run through BatchOrder (TapeMacs). This program can dramatically reduce the duplicate names in your customer database. This program is also available to pre-existing customer duplicates in the data-base, the output file is formated for standard Ecometry Merge Processing. The program will also filter out duplicate names from newly imported names brought in from outside list.
Advanced OrderProcessing Filtering -
This program will allow users to fine tune which orders will be picked for maximum warehouse productivity!
Item Utilities
- Item to Order Lookup – This utility simplifies the task of looking through orders for specific products. Selected filters will reduce the list to a smaller size. Order details and summary information are displayed.
- Item Update – This program updates an existing (Ecometry) item with information contained in an external file. For example if you have pricing contained in a spreadsheet, the program will read the item number, find that item in the Ecometry database, and change the default price to match the price contained in the file.
- Item Copy – This utility allows Ecometry users to copy item master information, merge it with new data, and build a new item.
Data Management Tools
- Pricing or Multipricing Upload – This utility allows offer product information and price tier information from an external file to be entered into the Ecometry database.
Offer Product Upload - This program load Offer Products into Ecometry from flat files, a new "Style" Offer Product update is now available!
- Receiving Upload - This program will load receiving information into Ecometry from flat files.
- InfoOut Utility - This program pulls all order-related data in such a way that it can be formatted by a word processing or PC database program. One of the key features is the trigger mechanism that can capture the data at virtually any step in the order process.
